Hey guys! We had a great lesson from I John 2:15-17 about not loving things of the world. We missed those who couldn't be with us and hope to see you soon!
In order to make sure everyone has time to plan and be a part of our activities, I will begin posting three months of events at a time. Please note that sometimes things may occur that may result in us having to cancel an event or change the event. However, I look forward to sticking to these dates!
Sunday, January 21st: 
What: Movie and Snacks
Time: 3 pm to 6 pm-
Where: Youth Room
We will be watching a movie along with plenty of snacks! Come with a blanket and chair or hop on one of our couches for a good movie, good food and fellowship! We will be done in time for the evening service.
Sunday, February 18th: 
What: Supper After Evening Service
Time: Directly After Evening Service
Where: Fellowship Hall 
We will have a free sandwich, salad and potato supper after the service. Donations will be taken at the door. I will need help with desserts.
Saturday, March 17th:
What: Bingo Night and Spaghetti Supper
Time: 6:00-8:00 pm ( youth arrive at 5:00)
Where: Fellowship Hall 
We will have a free spaghetti dinner and bingo night. Donations will be accepted at the door.
Friday, March 23rd: Winter Jam will be in Columbia, SC. The lineup is Newsong, Skillet, Kari Jobe, KB, Building 429, Jordan Feliz, John Crist, and Nick Hall. This would be a two hour drive there and back. The concertwill last about 4 hours. We would need to leave early on Friday. We may have to leave early from school, which isn't the best plan, but a possibility. This is something we would need 10 or more people to sign up for in order to go. Please let me know by February 1st if this is something you are able and would like to do.
Our summer trip will be the week of July 18th-22nd.

Good morning! I hope you all are off to a great week! I wanted to say how proud I am of you and your accomplishments. Tobias and Hildon had a great day at the ballfield with a Championship win! Austin Treadway, Mallary Treadway, Taryn Jenkins, Justin Riffle and Will Walker, racked up at the awards ceremony and Dakota will be a junior marshal at Burns High this year! Such great kids we have and you do it all for the Glory of God!
Many of you have heard about my grandmother being sick. She had a stroke yesterday and had to have huge blood clots removed late last night. I am here at the beach with her and my family. Thank you for the prayers, because they worked! What looked like a very bad situation with no good results turned to a blessing when the doctor was able to remove ALL of the clots. She is alert again and knew us when we visited last night. If all goes well she gets to go home in a week with rehab. I plan to travel back home tomorrow if all stays well this way. Please pray for traveling mercies for me.

May 28th: Graduation Party for Sunshine Shull after evening service. We we wait to go to Sweet Frog at a later date.
June 25th (Tentative Date) : Hot Dog lunch after church to help with donations for beach trip.
July: Barbeque Luncheon after Sunday Morning Service
July 17th-21st: Beach Retreat- This year's beach retreat will cost $50 per student. It will need to be turned in by July 15th. I am officially MAXED out of spots for the beach trip. If you have not text me or told me that you are going, please double check with me. Better to be safe! There is a fire code for the place we are staying and I have to abide by this. If you have not told me, I will only be able to accommodate you if someone drops out.Please let me know if you have questions or concerns.

Happy Monday! I hope you guys were able to get some rest from our whirlwind of a Saturday!
This week we will be working on the final few steps to finishing up Revelations. Please plan to meet in the fellowship hall. I have a few treats for you that you can munch on while there. CHALLENGE TIME: I challenge each of you to bring a friend on Wednesday. Jerry spoke to us about going out and reaching others and sharing the gospel. You never know when a friend may need to hear the word of God. Let's share Jesus with our friends! Invite them and don't give up!

Guys, thank you to you and your parents for all of your hard work throughout Saturday. We did great and were able to recoup some costs we had spent earlier. I am excited for our upcoming activities and will give more details as we get closer to each one.

Happy First Day of Spring! I hope you had a great weekend.
This week we will be working in Chapter 12 of Revelation. Hunter will teaching. Please be on time so we can do announcements and jump right in.
This Saturday is a busy day! We have the pancake breakfast and cross painting and then we leave for Winter Jam in Greensboro.
I have not had a lot of sign ups for the breakfast or crosses. I know the sign up hasn't been up long. Please make all arrangements to come out and help us and please invite our church members and others to come out! This money we make helps fund our beach trip and other outings. NO money, means NO beach and NO outings. Instead of assigning teams. I need 4 of you to come to the church about 5:30 and the rest of you come at 6:30. Please reply if you can come early.
Parents, please come eat with us and consider painting a cross. I am attaching the flyer for the crosses if you would like to share on your page or with your friends.
After the breakfast we will load the bus for Winter Jam. You need: $10 bucks to get in and money for lunch and supper. We will eat lunch on the way and grab a quick bite on the way home. It will be a late night, so we will post on here our expected time of arrival when we leave the concert.

It is Monday! Time for our weekly updates!
This week we are going to go over Chapter 11 in Revelation. We are also going to bring our healthy competition back. Guess who's bringing the potatoes?!?! That's right, potato race! We will meet in the fellowship hall this week instead of upstairs.
The date for our summer retreat is scheduled for July 17th-22nd
I need to get our house booked. Please tell me if you are going by Sunday evening. I know that is fast, but we got to move fast to get a house big enough to hold us all!
Upcoming Events:
March 25th: Pancake breakfast and cross painting. See detailed information below:
Cross painting is $35 for the cross, painting, door hanger and bow. Please start trying to get people to sign up to do this. You can do one, too! You can invite others outside of our church. Cross painting will begin at 8:30 and go until 10:30 am.
Pancake breakfast is by donation. We will be at the church at 5:30 a.m. to set up and start cooking. I will make teams so that you all can rotate and paint a cross, too if you choose to do so.
We will leave after we clean up for Greensboro for Winter Jam. The cost is $10 to get in. You will need lunch money and supper money as well.
