Hey guys! We had a great lesson from I John 2:15-17 about not loving things of the world. We missed those who couldn't be with us and hope to see you soon!
In order to make sure everyone has time to plan and be a part of our activities, I will begin posting three months of events at a time. Please note that sometimes things may occur that may result in us having to cancel an event or change the event. However, I look forward to sticking to these dates!
Sunday, January 21st:
What: Movie and Snacks
Time: 3 pm to 6 pm-
Where: Youth Room
We will be watching a movie along with plenty of snacks! Come with a blanket and chair or hop on one of our couches for a good movie, good food and fellowship! We will be done in time for the evening service.
Sunday, February 18th:
What: Supper After Evening Service
Time: Directly After Evening Service
Where: Fellowship Hall
We will have a free sandwich, salad and potato supper after the service. Donations will be taken at the door. I will need help with desserts.
Saturday, March 17th:
What: Bingo Night and Spaghetti Supper
Time: 6:00-8:00 pm ( youth arrive at 5:00)
Where: Fellowship Hall
We will have a free spaghetti dinner and bingo night. Donations will be accepted at the door.
Friday, March 23rd: Winter Jam will be in Columbia, SC. The lineup is Newsong, Skillet, Kari Jobe, KB, Building 429, Jordan Feliz, John Crist, and Nick Hall. This would be a two hour drive there and back. The concertwill last about 4 hours. We would need to leave early on Friday. We may have to leave early from school, which isn't the best plan, but a possibility. This is something we would need 10 or more people to sign up for in order to go. Please let me know by February 1st if this is something you are able and would like to do.
Our summer trip will be the week of July 18th-22nd.
