Tonight, two students from Cherryville HIgh School were in a serious accident. From what I know through Matt, one student is in critical condition. They need our prayers. When I heard there had been a wreck, I immediately began to pray and each one of you came to my mind. Your faces, your smiles, and I prayed for your safety. I prayed that we would never get a call like this for any of you. I say this to lead into this... Life is short. We must always live each day as though we may never see another one. There will be bad days, but I honestly believe that we should never go to bed angry with anyone. We shouldn't say things we cannot take back. We should love our family and our friends. We should build each other up. Not every day will be good, but there is something good in every day. Let this soak in. I love each of you, just as you are. I love your passion and I love that you want to serve God. Please always be careful and live your life to best you can! Do not let Satan drag you down into defeat. When you are not here, we miss you. We think about you and we pray for you! If you ever need me, I am a call or text away. This week we will meet in the fellowship hall. Come prepared with your bible and something to take notes in. This month we will be creating cards for our policemen, firemen, and any others you may choose to make cards for. We also will be adopting a soldier to send items to. Also, this month, I am asking you to bring two non-perishable food items each Wednesday that we can put in the food pantry. If we have certain needs, I will send that out. This Wednesday is going to be a little different than our past Wednesdays. We will be having an ice cream social. We had a donation by a church member for this. We will do a thank you card for her during our social. We will have a devotion and then we will be working on cleaning up and rearranging our room. If you have old Christmas lights, any big stand up lamps, or bean bags chairs that you no longer need, please bring them. I am excited to do some rearranging and planning for our room.
